Step five: Anyone who's ever watched the Oscars knows if you have a beautiful necklace, you
gotta have gorgeous earrings to go with it. So that's what we're going to make now. We're
simply going to take our red pipe cleaner, and we're going to fold it in half, just like
this. Take our scissors. Remember, if you're doing this project with kids, use safety scissors,
and snip it right in half. This is going to create our two fasteners that we're then going
to add our candies to, and hook these around our ears in just a moment. Now, pipe cleaners,
you can get them just about anywhere, and they come in lots of different colors. So
go ahead and get an assortment, because if you decide to do this craft for Christmas,
for Hanukkah, for Kwanzaa for any other holiday, for Easter, for Mother's day, you'll have
an assortment of pipe cleaners and you can use the different colors for different crafts
to match the season or match the holiday. Next thing we're going to do, is, we're going
to take this pipe cleaner and we're simply going to wrap it around the end of our candy.
And our candy is going to serve as our jewel....just like that.
