>> Court: I'm here at Blue Monkey Bicycles near Salt Lake City, Utah. I'm with Dwayne.
He's the owner. Hey, Dwayne.
>> Dwayne: How are you?
>> Court: And look at this, it's like a built-in hand warmer that goes on a bicycle.
They're call Bar Mitts. So can you explain how these things work?
>> Dwayne: Well, these are great. Being in Salt Lake City, we get down into the 20s,
normally we have snow. So where as other locales are just, you know, putting on jackets,
we're having to put on parkas. And to get people to want to ride over the winter, there's
some beautiful days out there, but to get them to ride in the winter, we're always
looking for some products that will make it easier to ride. So these, we're really excited
about. You can actually wear them with, you can actually use them without gloves or with lighter
gloves. But you stick your hands in here and they will protect you from the wind that you're
getting. And you'd be amazed, with just a thin shell. You can get down into the
20s, with just, you know, a t-shirt, sweatshirt and a thin shell and these hand protectors,
and you're good. You can ride.
>> Court: Wow, and they're fully removable. You've got like this nice little Velcro
piece here. You've got the zippers. You know, what we're looking at here, this is
a Pedego Trail Tracker, it's an electric bike, so you can imagine that, you know, if
you weren't pedaling as much as a normal bike, you might not be circulating blood the
same way. And it's especially important to have something warm on you. It's basically
a big wind breaker and it sounds like these works with kind of any bike.
>> Dwayne: Oh, they do. They will work with any bike. We experiment with them to make sure
they would work with an electric and you can reach the throttle, everything like that and
the brakes in there, so yes. And they've got them in different, they've got them in drop
bars, they've got them in different ones.
>> Court: Oh, my gosh. Okay. Cool. Bar Mitts. Thank you so much.
