Hello my name is Dr. Susan Jewell and on behalf of Expert Village today I am going to talk
to you about how to recognize and treat the condition called Restless Leg Syndrome. Now
in this clip we are going to talk about diet and also beverages that you take into your
body. Now studies have shown of course that increased caffeine, alcohol, stimulates or
triggers this Restless Leg Syndrome. So to decrease your chance of getting the Restless
Leg is to reduce or cut out alcohol and caffeine such as coffee, tea, soft drink beverages
and substitute that with water because water is obviously the universal liquid. It makes
up half of your body and it is recommended to drink between six to seven glasses a day
so drink more water and drink more natural juices like here we have cranberry juice which
is healthy for your body and also has no caffeine in it and therefore would help you to decrease
your chances of getting the Restless Leg Syndrome so take care of the foods and the diet that
you ingest into your body because besides living a healthy lifestyle and taking care
of the nutrition and diet in your life all of this would help you alleviate the conditions
of other medical conditions and also Restless Leg Syndrome so cheers and drink more juices.
