>> I have here with me a toolbox. This toolbox may be used to solve your everyday
problems.
Let's say for example you want to hang a picture. You can use a hammer and a nail.
Once completed, the picture hangs nicely on your wall.
Or perhaps you have something with a loose screw.
First you have to look to see wheter or not it requires a Phillips head
or flatblade screwdriver. Then use the specified screwdriver to tighten
the screw. Your problem is solved!
Now, with that said, think of yourself as a toolbox.
Your tools are the ideas, knowledge and skills you store in your mind to solve problems that
arise in your day-to-day life. You do have tools don't you?
We invite you to share with us the tools in your toolbox,
especially those that help you successfully problem-solve.
As an example, one of the tools from my toolbox is my knack for negotiating.
When I was in college, my roommate and I argued over the perfect temperature for our room.
When she was hot, I was cold and we just could not agree.
I used my negotiation skills to start a conversation. Together, we agreed on a temperature where
we both could be happy. Thanks to my tool of negotiation....problem
solved!
Come on and share what tools you keep in your "toolbox."
What skills do you use within your inner toolbox to help you solve everyday's life issues?
