Hi I'm nada with Smoking CIgar Girl And today I'm going to be reviewing the Bahia
Blu Churchill This is a 7 by 50 cigar with a Corojo wrapper
and Nicaraguan binder and filler. The cigar has a somewhat oily wrapper. No
visible veins and the wrapper is a little bit toothy.
There's a distinct barnyard odor on the foot of the cigar.
And there's a very earthy flavor with a little bit of spice on the cold draw.
There's a lightly sweet note on the front of the palette. And a little bit of Earth
as well. I'll be back in a few moments to discuss the
1st third of this cigar.
The light sweet note that was present in the first few puffs of the cigar went away very
shortly thereafter. The cigar is mostly herbal and woodsy on the front of the palette. And
has a long, lingering woodsy finish. The woodsy notes are typical of a Corojo wrapper
so its not surprising at all. I was actually surprised with the sweetness on the first
few puffs. The burn is mostly even. The ash held on until
I tapped it off. And the draw is great on this cigar.
The second third of the cigar, the sweet notes came back on the front of the palette here
and there, but for the most part it was still mostly herbal and woodsy on the front of the
palette with a long woodsy finish.
The burn on this cigar has gotten a little uneven but hasn't caused any problems yet.
The draws still great and so is the ash.
The final third of this Bajia Blu Churchill , the woodsy notes were toned down a lot.
The cigar had mostly peppery flavors on the front of the palette with a little bit of
wood and the finish was mostly black pepper with a little bit of wood and some herbal
notes.
The cigar had a great draw from start to finish and the burn evened out from the second third,
I didn't have to touch it up with a lighter or anything.
The cigar also produces large volumes of smoke which I know you a lot of you love. And it's
a medium to full bodied cigar, so a lot of flavor and a mild-medium or medium at best
strength cigar so not very strong. It really would be a good cigar smoke in the afternoon
or evening.
As always I'd love to know what you think of this review, and if you have anything you'd
like me to review please let me know.
