I’m Jean-Noël Peudeutour
I teach maths and science in a secondary school in western France.
The creative aspect is more in demonstrating to the pupils.
Science nowadays isn’t done by scientists alone in their labs
but with international communication and collaboration.
That’s how it’s done at the highest level
and I’m trying to apply that at school level.
The hardest thing was to find a common scientific protocol
so there was a lot of discussion.
It was a challenge, but also very interesting.
We had real scientific debates.
As a teacher, I made some friends.
I already knew Tatjana, but now I have some Greek partners.
That’s great for the teacher of course
and the pupils became more interested in astronomy.
Some now have their own telescopes
and they know it by heart. They know all about the sun.
For them it was all very well explained.
