A large regiment of blood elves had been sent by Illidan's ally prince Kael'Thas sunstrider
to lay waste to Shattarth city and the Aldor. As the regiments of blood elves crossed the
bridge the Aldor braced themselves to defend the terrace of life. Then the unexpected happened,
the blood elves laid down their weapons in front of the city's defenders. Their leader,
a blood elf elder know as Voren'Thal stormed into the terrace of light and demanded to
speak to the Naaru A'dal. As the naaru approached him Voren'Thal knelt and uttered the following
words. I've seen you in a vision naaru, my race's only hope for survival lies with you.
My followers and I are here to serve you. The defection of Voren'Thal and his followers
was the largest loss ever incurred by Kael'Thas's forces. Many of the strongest and brightest
among Kael'Thas's scholars and magisters had been swayed by Voren'Thal's influence. The
Naaru accepted the defectors who became known as the Scryer's. The Aldor are an ancient
order of Draenei priests who rever the naaru and assist the Sha'tar with their battle against
Illidan and the burning legion. They are primarily found in Shattrath city and there are some
in Shadowmoon Valley as well. Though they have suffered much at the hands of the blood
elves who later became known as the scryers they have put aside their differences in order
to fight the Burning Legion and Illidan. The Sha'tar, meaning born of light in Draenei
are a faction of naaru led my A'dal. Aided primarily by the Aldor and Scryers the Sha'tar
are dedicated to defeating the demonic forces that threaten both Outland and Azeroth. To
this end the Sha'tar helped drive the demons away from the city and rebuild Shattrath city
following its destruction by the Horde. Today they are the leaders of the war against both
the Burning Legion and Illidan Stormrage.
