The main thing to keep in mind when learning how to cut a lime is that you MUST cut the
little slits down the center of the lime wedges. If you don't put a slit on each lime wedge,
you won't be able to slip in on the rim of a glass when you're making mixed drinks and
cocktails later.
How to slice a lime is different from how to slice a lemon. Generally speaking, limes
are cut into wedges and lemons are cut into slices (due in part because of the size difference
between the limes and lemons); however you can cut a lime into slices, wedges or full
rings.
