Hi I'm Laura from PeterGlenn.com and i'm gonna show you some of the features
on the Obermeyer boys jackets.
So you can pick which one is right for your child
so uh... there are a bunch of different of designs and colors that this is the
Super-G and this is the Giant Slalom and these are two new toddler boys jackets for ,,
2012.
and one of the nice things that Obermeyer does is
they put a lot of the features the necessary features that you absolutely
need they put them in all of the kids jackets.
... so first of all the fabric on these is waterproof all kids Obermeyer jackets have
5 K waterproof ...
and that's going to be uh... waterproof enough that you can relly that when
they're laying in the snow they're not gonna get wet
they've also critically tape this seams here that are exposed to the outside
which helps a lot
uh... again when they're laying in the snow and they put pressure that
they're putting on a wet surface that seam taping helps to prevent anything
from coming through there.
everything's insulated to keep kids warm. There are different levels of
insulation and often times the amount of insulation will account for the
difference in price but basically ... a 200g insulated jacket is
gonna be nice and warm for your child and
Obermeyer makes some that they're a little bit warmer in the the 220g
240g range. That's gonna be really really warm uh... and they make some
that are a little bit less wamr than that in the 180g
uh... that's gonna be for child active they're out there they're
skiing they're gonna produce a lot of body heat it's gonna keep them warm
one of the nice things they do with their insulation is they used a very
technical low profile insulation kids hate to be
bulky and kind of puffed up in their jackets so these are nice and low profiles sotill
very warm
but they create that comfortable feel
there's also a lot of features on here that kids really like uh... one of the
most obvious is the pockets
kids love to pack up all their gear in their snacks and everything so Obermeyer put
a lot of pockets on the kid's jackes there's always a couple on the outside
and there's always one on the inside to for safekeeping
uh... They do have removable hoods on all of these so if your child doesn't like
the hood or if you don't need it you can't take it off and send it to the
side
One of the features that parents really love about obermeyer jackets is that ...
they do have something called a I-Grow and waht I-Grow does is that it allows for
the sleeves to be lengthened by and inch and a half
so in the inside of the sleeves
there is a bright color thread and all you do to lengthen is pull out that
thread out
and the sleeves will-lengthen by an inch and a half so if your child is in the middle of a
growth spurt and you want to get an extra season out of the jacket this is a
really nice feature
It means, you know you can make it one more season without having to buy new ski
wear.
another cool thing they do with the toddler boys stuff is they take these
little alligator clips on the cuff here ... and these just clip right onto the
little outside of their mitten there and prevents lost gloves you falling from
a lit and stuff like that.
Obermeyer kid;s stuff is really durable
that's one of the great things about it they can take it out and you know
do what boys do, roll around stump on things and it's gonna stay nice
... looking new and it's durable enough that it will be able to pass it
down to a little brother
overall you can count on all obermeyer kid's pieces to have all these
necessary features so one of the great things is that
you can just pick the one that your child likes the color of the design and
you know that's gonna have everything that you need
Thanks for watching in check out PeterGlenn.com for all of your favorite
