Amber: United Way means creating opportunities for people who need it the most.
I'm a strong believer that it takes a community to raise a child and United Way
sort of supports the individuals and people who don't have a community already around them.
Natasha: They provide for everybody. They're looking out to make living in this community
better for everybody and that to me
is an amazing thing.
Wanda Buote: United Way means to me an opportunity to volunteer or donate money
to support a really great charitable organization. I want to be a part of making a difference
in the world and this is just one way.
Natasha: They can get involved when there's campaigning, trying to get people to give donations
or just giving. I mean a quarter or whatever it is.
Erika: The first thing I knew for United Way was to give back gently used items that
you don't use around the house anymore. You can give them a call. They have a
lot of volunteer options.
Amber: I think that just getting behind the message and letting people know that
you support the organization so whether it be donations here or there. You can donate change
and stuff like that so taking advantage and getting involved with those opportunities.
