Hey everyone! Today I'm doing a review for the Arena Aquaforce Goggles and I'm not sure what kind I have yet, but we will find out
I got this order from Arena obviously. The pretty much best swimming brand on the planet. Better than Speedo, just saying
And I've already opened the box, so it's a tough box. I still haven't opened it all the way
That's just paperwork
And goggles
Yep
Ok, so, as usual you have your Arena Racing Aquaforce. I've actually kinda already opened these. I lied. I had to open them really fast because I wanted to see what color they were
But, we'll find out when we open them up. These goggles, I already have a pair of them which I will compare them too. But these are a different pair
These are not the mirrored kind, they are just standard. So if we open it up, they have the goggles, the four nose pieces it comes with, in case you have a different face size or whatever
And Arena Aquaforce. It says it's mirrored, but these are not mirrored. Basically these have the instructions. It's in a lot of languages. Anywhere from English, to Slovakian, to Estonian, to a lot of things
So the different things. We have anti-fog, goggle maintenance. These are just the information boxes. It talks about the maintenance and the eye safety warnings
The suitability tests. Also on the other side we have how you would adjust the strap, basically in the back
And then we also have nose piece adjustment, elastic adjustment, goggle removal, and goggle adjustment
There's that, and it also comes with a very nice hard case, as do most Arena, at least the Aquaforce goggles come in a hard case with a little strap, I guess you could put your goggles under there
And it's got some nice fabric on the inside which can absorb any extra water that are inside your goggles
Now for two pieces it comes with
As you can see they're relatively see through. They're not mirrored as I mentioned, and it currently has a pretty long nose piece on
The straps are really strong. They're not as necessarily elastic as some straps, but they don't need to be because they need to fit on your face securely, and has a nice clip here
The thing that I love about these goggles, is not only the style, but I also love the fact that their vision is ridiculous
You can see to your sides with these little crevasses here. You can also see above you by looking right here. Until they fog up course, but they have the anti-fog so, but if I don't touch it, it won't fog up
Basically it has your Arena Logo right here, and yes. So one of the things before buying these is to consider that there is no padding on these insides. It's hard plastic
And it makes a hard plastic noise, because when you put these on your face, they're going to initially hurt for the first few days until you get used to them, depending on your face structure
I've had some people try these on, I've let my friends borrow them. They said that: "No I don't feel anything". But that's because these are more of your asian fit goggles that are more for an asian type face structure
So, after you get past the couple days of pain if these hurt, they fit like a charm, and they seal on perfectly with some adjustments
The nose pieces, it comes with four extras. Basically it comes with slightly varying lengths here. So we basically have two medium ones and long ones. These ones are longer here. And these ones are shorter
Just to give you the best fit for your face and for your nose
Now to compare these with some mirrored goggles that are slightly used. The initial difference is that these are see through. You can actually see right through the camera
And these are mirrored, as in you can see the camera through them, and they're a little bit scratched up
Other than that these are basically exactly the same. You can see the contours of the inside on this side which makes them look kind of cool. On this you can just see a darker shading because of the mirror
They actually look almost the same from the inside, but these, these mirrored goggles are way darker
When I swim inside with these, I can hardly see out. And when I swim inside with these, my vision is a lot better
It's basically like wearing clear goggles, with a little bit of a tint on them. Not like sunglasses, these are basically equivalent to your sunglasses. The sun can't get in your eyes with these, these are great for outdoor
But these are your indoor kind, and they work just like that
Looking at the mirrored and the non-mirrored side by side shows that the only difference between the two is the look of the lenses
Depending if you want to go for an indoor look or an outdoor look, they would both work fine
But with better vision, sometimes the regular Aquaforce is the way to go
