Welcome to our third experiment
of The SciencePress. For this experiment you will need
hydrogen peroxide,
dried yeast, and a container. The chemical formula for hydrogen peroxide
is H2O2. So, step one,
pour the dried yeast to the container
so, let's get started with that,
pour it, and I think that's all we need.
Maybe, a little bit less
hydrogen.
I think thats it, and
lets move on to our second step.
So mix the hydrogen peroxide into the container.
So let's get started with that.
And look at that, bubbles! Let's move the camera a little
closer so you can see what's happening.
Move it in.
Alright, see how there's
bubbles in here.
So, if you kind of feel the bottle, its a little bit hot.
and a chemical reaction that occurred so heat
is emitted out. And do you think this chemical reaction is exothermic
or endothermic? It's hot
so energy is emitted out.
This chemical reaction is actually
exothermic because energy
is emitted out. So, thank you for watching,
subscribe to my channel, like it if you enjoyed it,
and comment your opinion.
And, if you want to see the experiment even closer,
here it is. So this foam is actually oxygen
O2, and water, so you can touch it
it's safe, but the hydrogen peroxide can kind of irritate your skin (If you are sensitive to it),
and thats all for today!
