Hey guys so today I’m here with a first look at the Motorola Droid 3.
Recently a Droid 3 found it’s way out into the wild
so let’s take a closer look.
This latest smartphone from Motorola seems
to draw some styling cues from the Atrix 4G
but of course with the addition of a full physical keyboard.
Speaking of the keyboard, if the leak is true
then you can expect to find a full five row keyboard
on the Droid 3 with a top number row
which should definitely make a lot of people happy.
Based on past experience the Droid 3 will probably sport a
1GHz dual-core Tegra 2 processor along with the Webtop interface.
At a recent talk with investors the Motorola CEO mentioned
that all high end Android phones after June will come with Webtop installed.
Webtop is the Linux based OS from the Atrix 4G
that allows you to use it as a normal computer
when paired with the laptop dock.
Whether we’ll see this is up in the air but since the Droid 3
supports HDMI out it seems like a fairly safe bet.
So overall what do you think about the Droid 3?
Personally I think that it should be a very nice upgrade
from the current Droid 2 and provide Verizon Wireless
customers a solid Android phone with a landscape keyboard.
While it seems unlikely that we will see the Droid 3 before June
be sure to let me know what you think in the comments below.
