Inspiration is mind-mapping, brainstorming
software that allows you to create a visual
representation of your thoughts and ideas.
There are 3 toolbars. The main toolbar is at the
top, a picture palette on the left, and a formatting
toolbar at the bottom.
In the first bubble, enter your Main Idea. In this
example, we are going to brainstorm on
Inspiration Software.
Select the bubble and then click on the Create
tool to add a new idea.
Use the Rapidfire tool to quickly add links to
certain ideas automatically. Type in an idea and
then click Enter.
You can repeat this to create multiple links.
Another way to start using this program is to type
down random ideas.
Using the Link tool, these ideas can be linked at
any time.
The Arrange tool can transform your diagram into
different arrangements.
Using the Picture Palette, an idea bubble can be
replaced with a picture.
Use the Formatting toolbar to change colours of
bubbles.
Once a diagram is complete, you can view it in an
outline or linear format by clicking on the Outline
tool.
If you wish to transfer your document to a word
processor, you must first save your work...
...and then click on the Transfer tool on the main
toolbar.
