This is Rachael with Nutrolution, in Miami Beach, Florida. In this clip, we're going
to talk about how to get more energy. Energy actually comes from the foods that we eat,
and specifically, the carbohydrates, so over here I have a bowl of fruit, and there's energy
contained in every one of these fruits and vegetables, even right here. The denser it
is in carbohydrates, such as the banana or the apple, versus the tomato or the lime,
the more energy it contains. Actually, energy comes from our metabolism, and some of the
most important things to focus on, if you don't have enough energy, is making sure that
your metabolism is literally fed, so our metabolism kind of works like a bunch of gears, and a
system, and at every different stopping point, there's different minerals and vitamins that
need to enter that metabolism, and basically help to manufacture the final product, which
is your ATP, which equals energy, so if you are devoid of energy, you are probably missing
some of your co-factors, so things like the minerals magnesium and zinc, or perhaps your
vitamins, like your B vitamins. You may be deficient in protein, or your cells may not
be receiving your nutrients as well, which would come down to fatty acids, so this has
been Rachael, with Nutrolution, in Miami Beach, Florida.
