Hello and welcome to CasekingTV, today with a new tower from Xigmatek, the Elysium.
Xigmatek is well known in cases, e.g. Asgard, Midgard and Utgard.
All these cases have a very good pricing within their class.
This continues with the new top model from Xigmatek.
First Big Tower from Xigmatek and this one really is big.
We talk about 60 cm height and 60 cm depth, you can even fit HPTX boards, like the SR2.
4 versions are available. Here the version with brushed silver aluminium sides.
Another version in black is also available.
Second option is with or without window on both colours.
Many 5,25" slots in the front, so many drives can be fitted inside.
In the front part of the top cover - just need a ladder for this big case -
you find the I/O panel. Nicely hidden behind this little bezel.
Two USB 3.0, two USB 2.0, audio jacks and eSata.
Right behind a 3,5" and 2,5" Hot Swap can be found.
Easy to use and you can use your hard drives as exchangeable drives.
Very good looking, the power button in the front.
Let´s have a look inside.
As you can see .. silver version with window.
Very big and powerful 200 mm fan in the side window.
Very big inside, real big boards will fit easily, as said e.g the SR2.
Here we have the biggie. This would look like this.
Even with this board you still have room for expansion.
Nicely done, the two CPU installation holes for easy backplate access.
btw, you can now also get a watercooled SR-2 version at Caseking.
Watercooling is a good hint, the Elysium features some nice details.
On the backside you find 7 openings for watercooling, you could even
use those for cables. Best of course for external watercooling or radiators.
A lot of space on the floor and the top cover with many fan options.
Or even for radiators.
You can mount the power supply on top or at the bottom.
So, even if you use SR-2 with two power supplies, Elysium is the right choice.
If you want to use air cooling we have two 120 mm fans in the front,
one 140 mm in the back and the mentioned 200 mm in the side panel.
On top all many more optional fans in this case.
Two HDD modules are supplied, wich give a good decoupling for the drives.
Those two are already featured in the big continous 5,25" slots.
All supplied with a fast lock system for quick changes.
Around the board we find many openings for cable management.
Easy to hide, no blocking of airflow and nice looks.
Another nice solution for fans are those two circuit boards,
which are distribution boards. So one 4-Pin molex for several fans.
Less cables, no y-fan adapters needed, just the two boards.
There will also be pre-dampened editions, for those who want a more silent case.
Also a dampening set will be offered if you want to install dampening yourself.
So even more options we offer.
This was the most important informations from my side,
first impression of the Elysium, real big for all those who need space.
Easy for luxurious hardware, watercooling or more space for upcoming stuff.
See you soon on CasekingTV.
