Hello everyone , Welcome in this special episod
« How to do a mobile garden ? »
I did a garden with herbs
Principaly : thyme, basil, what else ? parsley
I put some flowers in middle : viola
I also did signs, I found pieces of wood on the ground
And I wrote on. Here we have viola.
So we start now ! I need a basket.
To drain I need some stones.
There are a lots here !
I fill the basket to well drain the soil.
I fill about 1 cm.
I took many many and I put it in.
Now we have that. Seems good.
Then I need soil, I did a mix
with the soil that I found on the floor.
I mixed this with coffee waste and a natural fertilizer.
This is a fertiliser
and it’s organic.
I have already mixed it.
And now I gonna fill almost all the basket but not all.
I have to let about 5 cm clear.
The organic fertilizer it’s 100g to 200g for 1m3 of soil.
I don’t know how much I put but I think this enough
Otherwise I can put more I have another big bag of this.
I can put it on the soil not necessary in the soil.
Ok, there it’s quite good.
I have fill and I have more than 5 cm
but it will be all right.
Then, I have my herbs: Thyme, Parsley and some viola.
I think it’s better to mix different herbs with flowers.
Maybe it’s tastier but it’s better for the soil to have several plantations. 00:04:50,560 --> 00:04:53,330 It gives more nutriments.
I gonna remove my little plants
They are a little bit dry, I bought it 2 weeks ago
It’s dry so I’m going to wet it with Dr Grow it all.
It’s like compost juice. It’s organic.
I diluted it with water I put 50 ml for 500ml of water
Otherwise it’s 100 ml for 1L.
I moisturize the roots of my herbs
And then I put it on my little plastic basket.
It’s pretty good to have some herbs, especially when we travel, fresh herbs.
Rather than to buy it in boxes.
Because it’s tastier and it’s always funnier
to cook with our own herbs and make our own meals.
At least we know where is it from, we know how is it produced.
And it's made with love!
Oops this one is broken…
To avoid what I’ve just done,
to break the roots.
Simply, normally, push on the bottom
and normally it’s easier…
But I am beginner… I have no garden, I live in Paris.. .
It’s not a reason I know but… I’m not used to.
Actually, I make catastrophes.
But I hope with all I give to them, they will survive!
I forget to say: when we start to gardening,
it’s better to choose little plants rather than seeds,
it’s easier to know what they need,
especially with basil
we can see if they need more or less water by the leaves.
We can notice it very easily, it’s intuitive.
And all those plants are from an organic shop.
So they grew up in a safe place.
I have finished; I’ll put my little signs.
So parsley, viola and one for thyme.
What is great with viola (if they don’t die),
it’s that they bloom 6 months per year!
So it’s very pleasant to have flowers.
Here we are!! My basket is finished!
I humidify with this famous product « compost juice »
What is good also to do, now I can’t do it, I could but I didn’t forecast it…
It’s to add some straw on the soil to keep the ground wet.
Like this the soil is not too dry.
Oh look! A caterpillar!
It’s a proof that is organic!
Otherwise the caterpillar wouldn’t come !
I hope that you like this little tutorial
and for more informations look below this video.
I think we have similar product in France
I’ll try to found some and put below the video
I’ll try to found some and put below the video
