I have a couple of quick hairstyles for curly hair. Most of the time when we're trying to
do a hairstyle with curly hair, it's to try to combat something, so I've detailed these
around the front, 'cause that's the part of your hair that gets messy the quickest.
What I'm gonna do is, I'm gonna do a twist, and it's gonna section off this front, and
then another variation I'm gonna do is, I'm just gonna do the twist on either side of
the ear, and use it to create a headband effect.
Starting at the front hairline, if you part on the side I would start on the fuller side.
You're gonna take this hair, this curl, separate it into two pieces, and you're just going
to twist them. I'm going to twist them twice, and I'm going to start adding hair in. I'm
gonna take whichever of the two pieces that's closest to the hairline. I'm gonna pull a
little piece in, and I'm gonna give it two twists, one, two.
Then you can just keep twisting the hair all the way to the end. I'm gonna go back and
loosen it up. Then I like to just drape it around the back, like this, and then I'll
take a little bobby pin, and pin it right there. Now I'll just go to the other side
and do the same.
Once you've done the other side, you're just gonna cross it over the top of the other side
hiding the previous pins, and just pin under the hair. I pin in the opposite direction
of the twist.
This is a really nice casual look that you can do for naturally curly hair.
