In theory, the cities are product of people who live in them,
but of course the last generations did not create any city,
so they have to support a city or live in a city, or enjoy a city as their family:
they were born in that family without choosing it.
Caracas is the best city in the world,
without a doubt,
it is just that people don't know how to appreciate it.
You've got this problem here in Caracas,
the rules are not clear, never.
Everything... you have to understand it, the rules are flexible for everyone,
specially the laws, to know how to judge yourself and how to move within them.
Leaving behind thoughts that Caracas is an unsafe place
very violent and that it's one of the most unsafe cities.
To me, Caracas is a paradise,
it has a very tainted side that you can take benefit from
and you can do whatever you want in this country.
In this city I do whatever I want.
- May God give it back to you in health.
Thank you. What's that for man?
- Chill out, it's for a documentary...
-Smile dude, smile
- No, No. That costs money mate!.
- Come on!
I understand that Grafitti artists have very few spaces where to express themselves,
is true, billboards are tempting, as well as are tempting the highway signs,
I can imagine how difficult it can be to climb the metal structure
and paint over an exit highway sign that shows: “El Cafetal”, “Caurimare”, “Los Ruices”…
This *** *** up my life,
I mean, I'm the age that I am, I haven't been able to graduate,
I have nothing whatsoever you know?,
I don't have a car, I never have any money, I don't have a girlfriend.
I've a record at the police, life has been *** me,
I've been mugged many times.
I have not...I could say... I don't have any friends other than my graffiti friends.
Graffiti *** up my life, mate!
Legal graffiti in Venezuela is seen as an stumbling block,
like a betrayal.
In the kind of graffiti I believe, the game is different,
it's not about painting your own wall
Like a... stay really cool at home.
It's about getting known,
it's a never ending contest,
it's about being all the time in the street,
to let people to be eager to know about what you are doing.
It's pure movement, you never rest.
There's a registered company which is paying rights and taxes to use that space.
They contracted a team and they already paid to someone to have a billboard,
and then, all of the sudden, we see the graffiti artists piece of work included in the same billboard,
and to be honest, in my opinion,
in that moment that's to me an invasion of someone else's space.
I don't want to see billboards advertising their rubbish products when I'm on the highway,
it's not my ideal of a nice scenery in the highway, so,
I don't have to accept it!
Cool down, is already made!.
Let's face it!
Will there be anybody in that window?
I have spoken for everybody! (His Crew)
I *** up the cap!
