There are several commonly used anti-acne treatments and many of them contain, Benzoyl
Peroxide, retinoids, antibiotics or salicylic acid.
Oral antibiotics, or topical antibiotics which are put on the skin can also be used to treat
acne. Again they can also be effective, but there have been a lot of problems with antibiotic
resistance, where they stop working if you use them for a long period of time.
Retinoids are another popular ingredient in anti-acne treatments. They’re very effective
at reducing blackheads and whiteheads but they can cause photosensitivity and dryness
and redness in a lot of users. What I really like about Papulex is its unique
formula and power of three key ingredients they are the nicotinamide which helps calm
the skin by reducing redness and irritation; zinc which controls sebum production and the
anti-bacterial adehesive substance or ABA which helps clear the skin and reduce future
breakouts.
