NAMASKAR, I am uma aggaarwal and I welcome you to apni rasoi.
Today we are cooking bread pakodas using besan.
To make this,we need
4 bread pieces
One cup besan
ž cup water
Grated ginger
Green chilies chopped finely
A pinch of hing
ź tsp salt
ź tsp red chili powder
A pinch of soda bi carb
˝ tsp ajwain
1 tsp finely chopped coriander
Pour all the ingredients in a bowl and water in it carefully except chopped ginger and coriander.
Add water slowly so that the batter will be smooth without any lumps.
We add soda bi carbonate so as to make pakodas soft and fluffy.
After mixing the batter, now add ginger and coriander.
Again, mix the batter well.
We need to add some more water because the consistency of batter is not smooth.
Now keep this batter as it is for 5 minutes so that it will be fluffier.
Cut the bread slices to make pakodas.
Either we can cut in triangular shape or in a square shape.

To test this, add a drop of besan in it. If besan become fluffy and come above the oil surface, this means that the oil is ready to cook.
Now coat the slice with batter properly.
Add this slice into the hot oil.
Now take out the pakodas from the pan.
If the bread pieces are too big for the pan, you can further cut it..
Pakodas are very smooth and fluffy.
Children used to have it with a great smile on their faces.
We can either have it in breakfast or in with the evening tea.
