...this summer, this guy over here, his cape, his biceps, his big...
-Oh stop it guys -Oh okay
This is not another comic about superheroes wanting to save the world.
Hello there, we're a group of young people - age between 15 and 30 -
who attend comic workshop named ''Get hooked on comic''.
You could say the name is ironic, because we learn about addiction
and prevention
and how to express our knowledge and creativity trough drawings.
So, what have we learned in there last couple of months?
- how to build a character (whether we are talking about drawing or working
on ourselves).
Also, how to respect an authority...guys, I'm talking here,
I'm talking here!
- how to release our imagination and creativity by getting rid of
stereotypes in our heads and work under certain conditions.
What else? Brainstorming? Yes, brainstorming!
-how to deal with team work - and how to...-shut up, this is my line!
...dude...
-how our brain functions, all that stuff about dopamines, serotonins,
neurotransmitters, transistors...WHAT? Who put transistors in here?!
-we learned how to recognize simptoms of all sorts of addictions
and how to prevent it.
But the only thing WE got addicted to is a good social contact. - Haha,
good one buddy! - Thanks mate!
Yes, we really became good friends, we learned how to develop our
com-m-m-unication skills, people relation skils and, erm, bunch of
other skills.
So, all in all, going to these workshops is the highlight of our Thursdays
and Saturdays. - We don't ever miss it. - Not a chance.
Hope you have enjoyed this video and got a glimpse of what we do and learn around
here.
Maybe we won't save the whole world as our hero from the begining of the video,
but we try our best to learn how to be hero to ourselves
and to everyone around us.
Oh, yea, we also learned how to draw...
