It was a dry day here in the country, with multiple reports of forest fires.
For more, let's turn things over to our Kim Bo-gyung at the weather center. Bo-gyung,
what's the latest?
Well guys, the dry atmosphere and strong winds contributed to at least four forest fires
today alone.
Dry weather advisories have been issued throughout the country.
March and April are the driest months here in Korea, with humidity levels at around 50
percent. Things are looking very dry over in Daegu, where levels are down to 19 percent.
Nationwide showers are forecast on Wednesday, which may continue through Thursday in some
regions. This will hopefully appease some of that dry air. After the showers, there's
no news of cold snaps for a while. However, the temperature gap between the day and night
will continue.
Taking a look at the current conditions. Due to a high pressure system from the West Sea,
we're seeing clear skies across the board.
These conditions will continue through tomorrow. Otherwise, there looks to be around a 10 degree
gap in temperatures between the day and night tomorrow. So be prepared for that and another
day of dry conditions.
Moving on to tomorrow's readings. Seoul starts off the morning at 0 degrees, with a high
of 12. Gwangju and Busan reach 16 and 13 degrees.
As for other regions. Daejeon and Jeju make it to 14 degrees, while Dokdo jumps to 9.
That's all the update for now, and I'll be back with more after midnight
