doing cuttings in text books and things like that probly twelve years ago I

I am I've been working in film I did a lot of film
Craig Chisholm committees and I got to a point where I
I decided that I didn't really I'd much rather be making my own stuff and
exhibiting it in a way that was
controllable really and I had been exhibiting
prior to that I had a few little shows and I'd always been making work in the
background while I was working in film i
I kept 'em you know whenever had some time off following
go back to the studio and Micah and use culture mine
went to what I really want to do which is on sculpting
animals and puppets things like that
mean the prices usually guys those an initial drawings and sketches
and I'll go from indoor market like a small version
file sculpture and then
months that's all resolved nice and clean
and works you know going to the full-size
place incline year the initial drawings
as to where it all begins
I think really I used to try
make things very quickly liking montana
they sing them to take a bath
this part 3 months really
sometimes a simple sculpture them
same simple to make
wanna being removed difficult usually the reference from someone I know I
or on are often it's like a combination of a few different people
this summer's some a couple different peoples
friend in my mother's
was very kind
my mother took some photos of her means that is referencing a beautiful face
and the babies are generally remind kids will never happen photos at them and
their babies
you know some other military combination the home in two different people
might up close but I think there's a little their love issues with its very
to very controlled process they have to come strangle
through and often that's not very free process
you still doing things in a very technical wide you don't be sorry just

more interesting think that's why I've always change this Kyle
a little bit and always been happy to kind of throw in some other elements
like em animals or Mike a little bit more surreal

Kelsey a family member or something like that in the work so
like that pS There is a good example people would say and say other apparent
relative is that would serve effect their interpretation the work
which was nice to say actually because it I had mine angle
on but I'm really enjoying sculpture because I feel like I've just got to a
point where I've got the process

I think with my work cut into
include them in but keep them the same like em with this particular work
having a baby and all the woman it's really the same
individual
that's a nice but kinda balancing and in a way
so it's not like I am a literal same
