Clay Collins here, co-founder of LeadPages, and I want to talk about how to multiply your
Webinar conversions and your Webinar sales without doing anything different. So to illustrate
this, I want to give you an example from our own business. Back in the day, after we did
a Webinar, we would simply just mail out a link to a recording of the Webinar, and what
happened was this drove very few sales. What most people do is they just click on this
link, they download the Webinar recording, they never listened to it because you relieved
the tension that they have about missing the Webinar by just allowing them to download
it so they simply put it on their hard drive and they never watch again. That's what most
people do when you give them a link to the recording of your Webinar and this doesn't
drive your sales, right. If someone doesn't watch your Webinar, they're not going to purchase
the product that you're promoting with Webinar.
So what we did instead is we created a template like this that is used to display the Webinar
replay. It's got the Webinar right here and it has a countdown timer like this that is
counting down towards the time when the Webinar is going away. Now, as you can see here, it
says this replay will be removed on Tuesday 11 P.M. Eastern. So this dynamic and visually
compelling countdown timer is counting down towards the time when this is going to be
taken away. And as you can see, there are Facebook comments that can be embedded on
this page and people can share it if they like.
Now one really cool feature about this template is that it has a magical buy button so you
can actually set it so that a 'Buy Now' button appears here during the time of the Webinar
when you're actually pitching your product. So if you spend about an hour giving information
and giving value on that Webinar, and then you spend an additional 15 minutes pitching
your product, you can have this 'Buy Now' button be in sync with the time in the video
when you're making the pitch. So someone can click on this button and be taken to your
product purchase page. For LeadPages customers, this template is available right now inside
of LeadPages. To use it, all you need to do is scroll down to the bottom, find the template
called Webinar Replay, click on 'Use This Template,' then just click on this video area,
and you can embed any video code here from any video player. We're going to embed some
YouTube code.
To set the time when the Webinar Replay is going to be taken down, just click here on
'Job Script Options,' and set the day and time when the Webinar is going to be taken
down. To set when the 'Magic Buy' button appears, just click here on fade-in box. So if you
pitch your product at 60 minutes into the video, just set this for 60 minutes, and that
means that this magic buy button is going to appear linking to your sales page at 60
minutes into the Webinar. To save the page, just click on 'Save to My Pages,' and then
that page is immediately available as a replay. As you can see, this is coming down in 3 days
6 hours 10 minutes and 47 seconds. Also, as you can see here, this template is mobile
responsive so it can be viewed on IOS devices, Android devices, Kindle, etcetera, and with
all our pages, it can be instantly published to WordPress, to Facebook, or you can download
the file and put it on your own server.
Another option is that you can publish this to Facebook. To do that, just click on 'Add
to Facebook' page, choose the Facebook page you want to publish to, and as you can see,
the Webinar page is now here in Facebook. So if you want to drive Facebook traffic to
this as well you can absolutely do that. For LeadPages customers it's available inside
of LeadPages under Webinar Replay Template. You're going to find that this template drastically
reduces the number of people that want to replay link, but are never ever, ever in their
entire life going to watch the replay or consume the content. It allows them a number of days
to watch the replay so they have no excuse for not watching it. It also drives a great
deal of sales and is going to increase the conversion rate on your Webinars without you
doing anything different in terms of how you create and compose and run your Webinars.
This is clay Collins, co-founder of LeadPages. Thank you so much for watching this episode.
Take care.
