Hello everyone.
Today we're taking a look at the Samsung Galaxy S4.
Brand new handset from Samsung and as you can see, first off, the 5in screen, absolutely
pops on this device. It's one of the most beautiful looking displays you'll ever see.
On the bottom we have the micro usb and a noise cancelling microphone
on the side the volume rockers
and on the back we have the 13 megapixel shooter, flash LED and obviously the
Samsung badge. On the top, 3.5ml jack, an infra red blaster and another
noise cancelling microphone.
Overall as a hardware package it's 3g lighter than the S3, packs a
bigger display
and it's slightly thinner at something like .3mm thinner.
Not much that you're going to notice but in the hand the in the hand feel is fantastic with the S4.
Certainly with the S3 it was good but here it just feels like it's been
tweaked to perfection.
The device sits beautifully in the hand never feeling overbalanced or too
heavy and
always your thumb or digit fingers are able to reach the various
interface elements that you need to get to. Unlike where with the Note 2
where sometimes the screen could actually be a bit too big to be able to reach all the interface
properly unless you happen to have very very large hands anyway but as you can see the
hardware here is just gorgeous and with that large giant screen wow, watching
movies on this thing is going to be fantastic.
You can see there the physical home button which has been made slightly longer than on the Galaxy S3
This makes it much easier to hit the button and also I
found that there's less resistance on the button as well making it much easier
to hit.
Overall we found the Galaxy S4 hardware to be fantastic
and while it lacks that premium feel of other handsets there's certainly a lot here
to like.
