Now we're going to talk about the Goth face and make-up. As you can see, I've already
put some of it on. The real foundation for a Goth face is actually a white, matte powder.
And It's not as common nowadays, but the goal is to look as pale as possible, to look completely
matte. So you don't want to look dewy or anything like that. And you want to look actually almost
sick. So if you don't have a white powder, you can just use a regular powder, but you
want to make sure that it's a matte formula and not a shiny formula. The next step for
the Goth look is a cat eye eyeliner, or any sort of really heavy eyeliner. I have a cat
eye on. You can see that it extends past the corner of my eyes. And I did this with a pencil.
But you can also do it with a liquid liner, which tends to be favored more in the Goth
community because it goes on more smoothly. But the idea, lots of eyeliner and you want
it to contrast with the skin as really the base of the face. And the last piece of the
Goth make-up face is the dark lip. Now in the past, people traditionally used black
lipstick, but I think that a dark red is a really good look. It's the same one I used,
but you can go even darker. And the idea is to look like a doll to where there would be
an extreme contrast between your skin and the rest of the features on your face. And
you want those to be dark because when you get to Goth hairstyles, those are dark as
well, and they'll provide a really good contrast.
