Welcome to Shmoop! (for Students...)
Hi, I'm David Siminoff, founder of Shmoop. Welcome, students!
We're psyched that you have decided to Shmoop with us.
Get ready to improve your test scores, expand your understanding of classroom material,
and take some of that stress off your shoulders. The first thing you'll want to do is log-in.
Otherwise, all you'll be able to do is look at the pretty pictures on our homepage.
There's no need to use your "Magic Word" again until renewal time, and you no longer
have to visit the sign-up URL. For now, you can just go to www-dot-shmoop-dot-com,
click "Log In", and type in your username and password when the pop-up box appears.
Shmoop is available to you anytime, anyplace. Add it to your faves!
Use it at home, on your Smartphone, your Ipad, or any other new-fangled mobile device.
You can click on "My Passes" to view all of your Shmoop goodies.
And if there's one that you want and don't have, you can purchase it. Or... your parents
can purchase it. You know where they keep their credit cards.
The "My Profile" section allows you join your teacher's online classroom. The downside?
It's nearly impossible to hit her in the back of the head with a spitball.
If you ever get lost on the site, don't panic.
You can simply click on the "Shmoop" logo on the upper left hand side of your screen
and it will whisk you straight back to the main page.
The Shmoopsterpiece Theater is constantly growing and will be your source for video
tutorials. You know -- for when you get tired of looking
at funny pictures of cats. Don't forget to keep tabs on your Shmoints
and see how you're doing on the leaderboard. Hopefully you won't drop dramatically like
Tiger on Day 4 of a major. And you can share your test prep progress
with your parents. We're sure they'll be very proud to see how you're improving.
The gang at Shmoop is always adding new content. You can follow us on Facebook and
Twitter to hear the latest and greatest additions to the site.
You can also contact us at support@shmoop.com with any questions about your account.
We have operators standing by. Well, most of them are sitting. But either way, they'll
get back to you. Again, welcome. We look forward to meeting
all of your Shmoopy needs.
YouTube blurb: Now that you've decided to let Shmoop into
your heart and home (don't worry, we didn't have a key made), how exactly do you maneuver
around this crazy site? We got your answers... right hea'...
