We're halfway through Day 6, and partway towards Brasilia.
But we've had to land because we're running out of fuel.
And as you can see, we're in the middle of almost nowhere, waiting for our fuel truck
to arrive... which I hope it does arrive.
If it doesn't arrive, please give my love to my children and my wife...
(Laughter OS)
Our route today took us northwards from Belo Horizonte, past 2 national parks, a colonial
town, and then a straight line to Brasilia.
North of Belo Horizonte were 2 National parks and some simply beautiful waterfalls - one
of them was absolutely spectacular.
We then crossed to Diamantina - a delightful colonial town - before crossing to meet our
fuel truck.
And I'm very pleased to tell you - he did eventually arrive.
Then it was a straight line to the capital of Brazil - Brasilia.
Tomorrow we concentrate on Brasilia and the enormous amount of beautiful buildings in
this almost futuristic city.
