Dividend Yield Support is when the trading price of a stock hit a valuation level
which relative to its distribution payments
the effective yield of the equity becomes so attractive
that is reason enough to own the shares.
Definitions:
Dividend Yield Support:
The moment when the actual yield of the stock becomes higher than the industry average
Stock Income Valuation:
Using the dividend yield of the stock as the decisive buying valuation metric
Ex-Dividend Date:
In order to catch the dividend payout you should own the shares at least the day prior of the ex-dividend date
