This viewer mentions that her eyes are always watering and she's always having to use a
tissue. No matter what the season. She's wondering if she's making too many tears or is there
something else that could be causing the problem? Well, one of the things that happens with
the eye is that when the eyes get a little too dry, they start making more tears. So,
you probably are making more tears, but we have to figure out what the reason is. One
of the reasons could be medicines that you're taking that are causing your eyes to get a
little dry. It could also be the result of general medical problems, such as arthritis.
So we wanna make sure that there isn't some underlying problem that's causing you to produce
more tears or have dry eyes. Another thing that could happen is if you're eyelids aren't
perfectly positioned, it can cause the tiss the tears to sort of spill over them and so
you need to look at seeing if that may even need surgery to get those get that eyelid
back to where it needs to be to hold the tears in place. So, the best thing to do is to go
and see your eye doctor, have a comprehensive eye exam, and have them take a look and see
if there is an underlying cause for the tearing. And then they can help you get the treatment
that you need to make everything better.
