Hello again. In this video we'll take a look at how to add clipart such a speech bubbles
or animated elements to a project in Adobe Premiere Elements. I'm in the middle of this
mashup video that I've been working on for several tutorials. We've added a number of
clips and a stage frame and some text. Now, we're going to add a few more visual elements
such as couple of speech bubbles and some animations. So I'll start here right where
the batters are and then I'll go up to the edit tab and then over to clipart. Here we
have a whole set of speech bubbles. I can find these easily by clicking the filter by
and going down to thought and speech bubbles. There are quite a few different types of clip
art that can be added to your projects. Then I just selected a speech bubble I liked. You
can either drag-and-drop this right onto the screen or drag it to the timeline. I decided
to add mine directly to the timeline because I had created a new video 5 track. Some of
the speech bubbles and animations would occur at the same time as the titles, so wanted
them on a different track. I will add this to the timeline. Now I need to edit this.
It's really large and it says add text. So if I double click it I can go into editing
mode change the text and change the size of this. I think I'll start with the text. I
know that's going to need some work. Let me click on that and reduce the size quite a
lot. I have a nice misspelling in there. Then I will change this, shrink the size, align
it, and so forth. Anyway, I just need to keep working with the text until I get it looking
the way I want it to. I'll just keep working on this and come back in a few minutes. Now
I've cleaned that up and moved it around where I want to. Then, added another one here. These
videos from the late 1940s on social guidance are kind of goofy so the speech bubbles are
similarly goofy. When we get out to the Am I Trustworthy and we're talking about high
excitement this where I added some animated excitement excamation points. I got those
from the edit area also under clipart. Now I can select animated objects from the drop-down
where it says filter by animated objects and I used the excamation mark. And this is why
I wanted video 5 so I could bring these down on top of the text. Now obviously this is
way too big. I need to bring it down. Just drag it in. We put one over Dad, rotate it
a little bit, then bring another one down for the son. This one also needs to be scaled
down and positioned. Then I just did a little bit of rearranging to make sure that they
were occurring on the timeline right at the same time the text did. When they were speaking
so excitedly we have animations going right above their heads. Now that I've finished adding the animations
above the text and the speech bubbles I've completed everything that I want on video
track 5. So I've got that on 5, on 4 the titles, the frame and so forth. They're stacked up
on top of the actual video clips to add additional visual elements. These are kind of fun to
work with the animations, and the clipart, and the speech bubbles. See what you like
and give it a try. That's all I have for this presentation. Goodbye for now.
