Look at the flower girl. And the flower dog! Awwwww.
Don't worry about it just keep going. Annmarie don't worry about it.
She's just gotta fix it. He he
I'll walk the line. It all works, whatever. Wow, its a lot more people than I expected.
(crowd humming "Here comes the bride") Tori: That works.
Who gives Tori to be a bride to Francis? Larry: I do Page: And you're her father? Larry: Yup, her dad.
You may be seated (chuckles) Tori:Yes. Thank you.
Welcome everybody.
Tori and Francis are very happy that you all could join them today and bear witness as they exchange their vows in holy matrimony.
With this joyous occasion we must remember that marriage before God is a very serious matter.
Today Francis Figueroa and Tori Fernandez become one.
And Francis also becomes a Father. There can be no more blessed thing than this.
They have asked me to share some scripture that I thought would be enlightening to reflect on,
and also share with them God's word as he designed marriage to be.
I will recite Ephesians chapter 4 verses 2 and 3.
Be completely humble and gentle, be patient, bearing with one another in love.
Make every effort to keep the unity of the spirit through the bond of peace.
Which basically means... Don't fight. Get along.
Annmarie:Harley! Get off my dress! Awww my dress is ruined.
Another book in the Bible that God teaches about marriage and unity is in 1st Corinthians.
Chapter 13. In this chapter it speaks about love being patient, and kind.
Not envious or boastful. Not proud, rude, self seeking, or easily angered.
It says that real love does not delight in evil, but rejoices in truth.
It also protects, trusts, hopes and perseveres.
Thanks be to God for his words of wisdom, this being the ultimate gift the two of you can give one another.
I ask Gods blessings for both of you today and hope you both will honor one another.
With humble hearts and always keep these verses in mind the rest of your shared lives.
Now before we continue, Tori and Francis want to know if there is
Tori and Francis want to know if there is anyone here that has any reasonable doubt that this union should not happen?
(crowd laughs) Larry: Can I think about it? At this time,
Tori and Francis, would like to share a few words with Annmarie. Francis?
If I can open the paper... Annmarie today I'm marrying mommy. Crowd: Can't hear you.
Louder. Francis: (louder) Today! I am marrying mommy. From today on I will be a part of your life, Forever.
I promise to love you, and care for you, like you were mine.
I promise to protect you and be with you when you need me.
I promise to teach you and help you to learn to live and enjoy all you have.
WIll you allow me to marry mommy?
(Annmarie nods yes) Here, come here to me. Mommy wants to say something too.
(clapping)
Annmarie, Today I will be marrying Francis.
I want him to be there with us when you grow up and age and learn all the new aspects of being a little girl, and being a teenager, then an adult.
I promise that I will still love you even though I am marrying him. I will love you no matter what happens.
I promise to care for you, and kiss all your boo-boos away.
To be there when you need me. And to always love you.
As long as you're happy with this I'll be happy.
Will you let me marry Francis? (Annmarie nods) Yeah? Ok.
With your blessings Annmarie, Francis will now say his vows.
On this day, I bind myself to you, With these wedding vows.
Willingly and wholeheartedly. Free from any doubts Or mental reservations. In riches and in poverty.
In jubilation and in despair. In sickness and in health. And despite our flaws.
I will share my life with you. All that is mine is yours,
With love I will tell you the truth, as I understand it.
I will honor you, and respect you. I will rejoice in your joys,
and weep in your sorrows. I will love and cherish you, without pause, all the days of our lives,
Until death do us part. Page: or you kill me. Francis: Or you kill me. (crowd laughs) I like that one.
To our beaming beautiful Bride Tori, she's gonna now state her vows.
On this day, I bind myself to you, with these wedding vows.
Willingly and wholeheartedly. Free from any doubt or mental reservations.
In riches and in poverty. In jubilation and in despair.
In sickness and in health, And despite our flaws. I will share my life with you.
All that is mine is yours, In love I will tell you the truth as I understand it.
I will honor you, and respect you. I will rejoice in your joys.
I will weep in your sorrows. I will cherish and love you without pause.
All the days of our lives. Until death do us part.
Do you Francis, take Tori to be your wife and promise to hold true your vows?
I do.
You already have the ring on? You want to hold her hand? Alright.
Tori, do you take Francis to be your husband, and promise to hold true your vows?
I do.
Witnessing the two of you pledging your vows before the eyes of God, your Family, and your Friends,
it is my privilege on this tenth day of August 2013 in the State of Florida
to pronounce the two of you Husband and Wife.
Remember always, love is not about possession, love is about appreciation.
Always remember your wedding day, always remember how you feel this very moment.
Ok? When times get tough, and they will, remember how you love one another,
and hold on to this don't ever let it go ok.
Alright, now with much anticipation, you may kiss your bride.
(Applause and cheering)
Mr. and Mrs. Figueroa!
(More cheering and applause)
