Today I teach chinese steamed water eggs
use eggs and water
2 eggs, and the double amount of water
beat eggs about 1 min in one direction
cut some spring onion
200 ml luke warm water
1 tsp chicken powder, a pinch of sugar
1/3 tsp salt, stir well
after luke warm water has slightly cooled down
add water in eggs mixture, a little at a time
I use a measuring cup coz it is easily to pour out later
filter out glob
put in 1 tsp sesame oil, stir well
heat up steaming plate on boiling water
pour in the eggs mixture
cover with lid, medium heat steam for 3 mins
3 mins later, turn off the heat
sit on the hot hob for 15 to 17 mins
during this period you must not open the lid
15 mins later
sprinkle the spring onions on top
steaming time may vary depending on the heat
