Truc chouette pour la semaine
Hey there! Now, I know it's been a while since I've been doing videos for my own blog and I'm really sorry
But I thought I'd get back into it by doing something I love to do naturally
Sharing stuff I love with
People I might love, I'm not sure, we should get in touch offline and find out
My latest thing? Captiontube. It's a great free service I found for letting you put subtitles
on your videos that you want to put online. So, for example, I've been using it for the videos for Monitorchat.tv
that I've been doing for work, and I can add the subtitles before I even publish the video.
You get a transcript down below
That means, if you really want to print it out and you really love the video
You can just print out the whole transcript and put it up on your wall like a big poster and look at it every day.
The second thing is, that transcript is now being referenced by Google and other search engines, so it's great for SEO
Third thing is, it's great for people that might not speak your language
So if you might not speak English, or might not speak it that well, you can read it down below
Or you can click on the button.
Click. Click on that button. Click on the button!
And if you click on the button, you can pick which language you want to put it in
Now one of my friends recently pointed out that you can't put it in pig Latin
And I agree, it's a next step. The fourth thing is, sometimes I talk really fast and I don't even know what I'm talking about
It's just way too fast and subtitles can help people figure out what you're saying
Or you might just mumble all the time
Anyways check it out. Go to captiontube.appspot.com
Don't go to captiontube.com, it's some..***..network thing.. I don't know
Also, thanks to Loic le Meur who pointed it out who's using it for his Build your own Brand series
So let me know if you use it and what you think of it. Thanks for stopping by :) See you soon!
