MIMOSA CENDEY: I came to England to visit the universities and I saw Bournemouth and I just loved it, I loved the town and I loved the beach. I applied through UCAS with the
help of British Education Bureau and it was quite easy. I sent my certificates and my
grades from high school. I didn't know what to study so they helped me to choose my course
because they know all the universities in England and because they have visited all
the universities. I'm studying Events Management and it's a four years course, I have a placement
year next year so I'm gonna be working in London. I know that all my teachers are always
there to help me. You go to the uni, you go to your lectures and then you're just off
to the beach. I took vocational classes which made my university life a bit different and it
was really fun to share that with my friends. I choose to live in Lyme Regis, it was a very
new accommodation, the location of it was really good it's just in Lansdown, all my
flatmates were lovely and I still see them. All the time you have people around you, if
you need anything there's security, there's reception. Bournemouth is great, I love Bournemouth,
it's a student life here, everything's cheaper and everything's for students so student nights,
student discounts in shops, I would say everything is easier. There's always something going
on. Bournemouth University is really lively and there's always people around, there's
always something going on at the campus, it's really hard to get bored.
