Scripps Networks. I've been with the company for almost four years and since I began, they've been really involved with the university.
From having internship programs and reaching out to the school of communication and I think it's great that we have the
involvement that we do and to realize that we have such a great university in our backyard
and, now in the reverse, that the university has the disposal of our company. What better way to be able to
work with this leading lifestyle media company to know that it's right here in Knoxville, Tenn.
I like what I do. I think it's really fun. Everyone is so friendly here. It's not like, stuff and judgmental .
It's really open and friendly and it's a great place to kind of get your feet wet in the professional field.

I cannot imagine not having the experience that I have and being in the current job market. I've done so much and seen a lot of
things through being here. Not only in my department in PR, but also in the marketing department and production.
Just the whole industry, as a whole, I've learned a lot.
Scripps is a great place to work and that's one of the main reasons I've wanted to work here. You hear such great
things about, not just, you know, benefits and things like that, but just the environment is really conducive to learning.
Ever since I've been here, it's not just like, "Do this. Do this. I need you to do this." It's, "What would you like to do?
What do you want to learn about? How can we help you grow?" And I feel like that kind of environment is something that
will help me grow individually as a person and then grow in my career as well. There's so many internships.
There's so many programs like Women in Cable Telecommunications, which I am a member of. I think it's great that they reached out to us in that way.
