Hi, I'm Marti on behalf of Expert Village. I'm going to show you how to iron a jacket
today. This happens to be one of my favorites jackets I would wear almost everyday throughout
the fall season. However it ends up in the chair or the back seat of my car frequently.
So I think I'll give it a little touch up. First thing you always want to do is check
your fabric this one happens to be Ryon polyester with a lines. Which means it can not handle
a lot of heat another thing about my jacket is it has a grain to it almost like a corduroy.
So I need to be careful not to crush that as well when I'm ironing it. There is a specific
order you should try to maintain while you're ironing structured clothing. A jacket certainly
qualifies because of all the construction that goes into it. Also to get on hand is
a flower sack or a cotton cloth light weight but something that will help to protect the
top of your fabrics while your ironing. It will help prevent it from scorching or shining.
