good entry point into the digital industry. Content management roles will suit people
from a wide range of academic backgrounds. Just the sheer variety of responsibility in
the role mean that people coming into a role in content management could have held a number
of different degrees or studied many different A-levels.
If you're experienced at writing good copy, for example from a journalism background,
or if you're from a creative background with graphic design knowledge then these are all
relevant courses that would make it appropriate for considering a role in the content management
area. You do tend to need a bit of technical expertise,
also a knowledge of SEO and basic HTML coding knowledge comes in very useful in this position.
Other degree courses involving marketing and media can also be useful as a stepping stone
into this job area.
