THE PILINGS THAT ARE SUPPORTING THE HOME--
THERE'S OLD PILINGS FROM THE ORIGINAL STRUCTURE,
AND THERE'S THE NEW ONES THAT WERE POURED.
HE DOESN'T HAVE ANY PAPERWORK ON IT.
HE NEEDS TO KNOW HOW DEEP THEY ARE, HOW BIG THEY ARE,
AND UNTIL HE HAS THAT, YOU KNOW,
WE CAN'T REALLY MOVE FORWARD.
WE CAN'T DO A HECK OF A LOT MORE.
EITHER WE HAVE A LETTER,
OR WE HAVE TO FIND THE CONTRACTOR WHO DID THE WORK,
SIGNS A LETTER, AND TELLS US HOW BIG THEY WERE.

AND WE'D HAVE A LOT OF TROUBLE TRYING TO FIND THAT,
OR THREE, WE HAVE TO TRENCH UP FROM THE OUTSIDE EVEN MORE
