bjbjBrBr Welcome to the spiritual Temple Without Boundaries. I am the Reverend Octavia Brooks,
and I have a question for you. Are you spiritually curious? I know I was. When I started on my
path over 20 years ago, I was really curious, but I was also a little overwhelmed by all
the different spiritual options there were. There were teachers, there were tools, there
were techniques, and I just didn't really know how to get started very well. And what
really had meaning for me over trial and error and trying so many different things, ultimately
it came down to something really simple: As long as I'm doing something I love, I feel
spiritually connected. I really want to make it easier for you than it was for me. It turns
out that all you need to do is take your basic approach to life and apply it to your spiritual
path. People have about five different approaches to life and they fall into different categories,
different preferences, and those are: a movement-oriented preference, a visually-oriented preference,
a stillness preference, or a preference for experiences or even sound. For example, if
you're a movement-oriented person, chances are you're going to like spiritual practices
that have movement as part of them. So, that would be qi gong or other martial arts. It
would be taking a walk in nature or it would be relating to maybe even ecstatic dance,
finding some form of dance that you really like. So actually, what I've done is taken
all the world's traditions, all the spiritual practices from all the world's traditions,
and put them into these five pathways. And these pathways will make it much easier for
you to find spiritual practices that you will love and enjoy. Presto! You've got a spiritual
path. If you're ready to get started, click the link at the top of this page called "Find
your pathway." From there, you'll find your pathway page and there will be many things
for you to try on that page, and that will surely help you get started on your spiritual
path. If you would rather, sign up for our newsletter -- it's full of spiritual revelations
and ideas, and either way, you'll be giving yourself a spiritual gift that will inspire
you for the rest of your life. I really appreciate you stopping by the Temple today. Thank you
for coming in and I look forward to connecting with you again very soon. Namaste [Content_Types].xml
