Hi, I'm Candi Cane Canncel with Expert Village. So we cut apart our grocery bag to create
our pattern pieces but before we go ahead and cut out our pieces from our fabric I'm
going to show you how to make a pocket pattern. Now we're going to be needing two pockets
one is for the interior that you can use for either keep your keys in or you can also use
it to put one of those cold packs in if you want to keep your groceries cold. Then we're
going to have one on the outside that we're actually going to have a zipper installed
in. So I'm going to take the extra piece of the back pieces cause we don't need that one
and I'm just going to measure out a fairly large pocket. You want something that's about
7" wide and about 5" long so just go ahead and measure out 7" and draw a line, then you'll
go up 7". We'll actually draw seam allowance to this so if you want to go up 4 1/2" that
can be your seam allowance.
