WinSCP is a windows based graphical FTP client
with its primary focus being on security protocols
such as SFTP, SCP, and FTPS.
It is developed by the open source community
and relesed free of charge under the GNU
General Public License.
WinSCP allows you to transfer files between
your local computer and remote FTP servers. It is
also a great way to manage and maintain
your website's files. Amongst it's many other
features, some of the the more unique are it's
ability to use SSH and server scripting, as well as
directory synchronization between your local
machine and remote servers.
WinSCP can be downloaded from winscp.net. To
download the software, click on the DOWNLOAD
link on the top navigation bar.
The installation packages contain an installer file
that can be used to install it on your machine just
like any other windows program. The sponsored
installer may include advertisements during install
procedure or contain options to install other items.
The standard install contains just the installer file.
The portable executables of contains a version
that can be copied and run directly from a USB
drive or portable media such as an SDCard or
external hard drive.
