In the summer 2012 I was able to travel around Europe with my roomate
I wanted to share with you some of the highlights of our trip
Our first stop was London and we ended up spending more time there than
anywhere else.
There's so much to see and do. As you can see we saw Big Ben and
Parliament.
We also walked around to Buckingham Palace and to the London Eye.
My cousin Mark was studying abroad there was able to show us around.
On a side note I got into my first car accident here
in a taxi, so was it my fault.
Next is my favorite stop Amsterdam. There's so much culture in this one city
it's astounding.
The weather wasn't great but we still got to tour the Anne Frank House
and take a water taxi tour. On another side note I got into my second car
accident here when our bus ran into a trolley.
Berlin was also very interesting to me because its history.
The graffiti art on the remnants of the Berlin Wall are remarkable.
After Berlin we toured Prauge,
paraglided in Austria, rode a gondola in Venice,
experienced the history of Rome, sang karaoke Florence,
fed the swans in Lucerne Switzerland, and ended the tour Paris.
None of this would have been possible had it not been for the guides
from Contiki tours.
