Loretta: Hi, everybody. My name is Loretta and this is my sister, Ava. We're the Double-Time
Twins, and today we're going to teach you how to dance on beat. So the first thing you
should remember when you do this is basically just listen to the music and get into the
groove of the music. The easiest thing you could do is clap. So when you hear your instructor
or someone talk . . .
Ava: Wait. When you hear your instructor, or if you're ever taking class and they count
to eight, that's what they're counting. They're counting the beat. So they go, "One, two,
three, four . . ."
Both: ". . . Five, six, seven, eight".
Loretta: They're doing that to help you so you can dance on beat.
Ava: On beat.
Loretta: So I can do that, and Ava, you could do a dance move so they could see what it's
like to dance on beat.
Ava: Okay.
Loretta: So we got five, six, seven, eight. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight.
Awesome. That is how you dance on beat.
