Hey there! Welcome to the Dime Store Diner! I'm Victoria Hanson, a broadcasting major here at
Western Illinois University and I'm University Television's intern.
I'm going to show you there's more to cooking in college besides ramen noodles.
It's going to fast and fun for those of us who are frugal.
On today's menu I have pizzas you can make without the wait.
You'll need some cheese, any kind of marinara sauce, some mushrooms and some feta cheese.
My favorite!
No door bell or delivery driver necessary.
Get some pita pockets, take your sauce, dab it on in the middle, add your mushrooms.
You can also use other vegetables.
I like spinach and tomato as well.
Some feta cheese crumbles and, of course, top it off with big handful of mozzarella cheese.
You're going to put these in the oven preheated at 425 for about 8 minutes.
Or until your cheese is melted.
And...there's your pizzas without the wait.
Thanks for watching. Come back next time.
For the Dime Store Diner I'm Victoria Hanson.
