The gorgeous Orlando Bloom has made his Broadway debut as Romeo in the Shakespeare classic
Romeo and Juliet.
Orlando, who stars alongside stage actress Condola Rashad, says it's been a great experience.
"2013, and William Shakespeare is back on Broadway in Romeo and Juliet after 36 years.
It's... To be a part of that is beyond an honour and a privilege. It's truly uh, something
I will treasure and will be the wind beneath my wings for the rest of my days. It's really...
It's really an amazing experience. I feel like I want to melt into a puddle. I'm so,
kind of shaken and moved and overwhelmed by that whole kind of thing. At the same time,
I'm kind of you know bracing myself for tomorrow evening's performance because we're going
to be doing it for 8 shows a week for the next 3 or 4 months."
The last time the classic tale was performed on Broadway was back in 1977, and you can
watch the production in New York until January the 12th.
