One of my very favorites, fishing lures, they are so much fun. Who would have ever thought
that a little tiny fish that you put on a hook and throw out the end of a line? I mean,
who would think you'd collect those? But I'm telling you, they are so collectible. As a
matter of fact, they are so collectible that there's this huge book all about them, can
you believe that? How many pages are in this book, there's like eight hundred pages in
this book. It's called Old Fishing Lures and Tackle. There's a few books out about fishing
lures but this is the fat one so I picked this one to show you. These books have all
these wonderful colorful plates, look at this. These are old wooden fishing lures. The best
- the thing to look for when you're looking at fishing lures, as you'll find in these
books, is you really want the old ones. And the old ones are wooden. If they're plastic,
you know they're probably not real old. These are called Heddon and there's different companies
that make these fishing hooks, and the other thing that is really, really cool. If you
have the original boxes, that is really what's valuable. Sometimes, amazingly the boxes are
worth more than the lures, it's incredible.
