everytime we open a document we need to change our margins
and are font style and size
we want that to be
this standard template so every time we open at the document we're going to see
that change
let's update the
document to the standard and then save it as a template and then we'll make it
the default template
so we've updated our margins
and we've updated are font size and stylistic arial ten
we also want to bring in
the watermarks we want to have them in our
standard template
so i'm going into confidential watermark i don't want the text i want to bring in
the pages
clicking ok
and it's not updated until I click off
and back on and there's the confidential and draft
I will save it as template
and we're going to save this as margins 5 arial 10
draft and confidential
so we've saved it. we now need to see to save it as the default template
go into organized
I'm double clicking
and and going to right-click
on the margins five
and click on set as default template
so now i'm going to close out
we don't need these changes
open up a new document
and there we see our margins five
and we have our confidential draft watermarks as well as the aerial ten
before we complete this video we need to show how to get back the standard
default template that comes with libreoffice
to do that we go to file
templates
organize
i'm picking my templates but any of these will work 'cause when i click on
it
i'm going to right click
and here you can set this one as the default template or reset the default
template and that works for
any of these that are in the my template I can set that as the default template
or reset
default template. I am going to
reset it
close
now let's reopen libreoffice office writer
and we see we've got back to our default margins times new roman twelve the
standard libreoffice
default template
