Hi! My name is Kathy and we are at My Lords and Ladies. On behalf of expertvillage.com,
we are going to talk about purses today. As I stand here before you, I am dressed in very
basic black and white. We could never go wrong with this combination, which gives us a lot
more play in what we can choose that our purse is made of. Fabrics are always good because
we get many patterns, beads added on, all kinds of things. So if I was going out and
I am wanting to have a little bit of fun with my black and white combination, I would choose
something that has some leopard print on it, smudged beads there; I can go out in the evening,
I can go out in the daytime, it would make no difference. It would still work. If I want
to put a splash of color with this I can pull in the brown, very very popular right now,
browns, greens, taupe’s, does not really matter it all goes with black. I want to make
a little more of a statement I am going to make a contrast instead of blending in. So
we are going to put the pattern prints down there but we are going to go into a bright
color. Now if I was going to choose a purse that has this bright color and then more bright
color beads put on to it, I would definitely pick something out of the purse and go for
earrings, necklace, a broach on the lapel, whatever choosing the ruby color or the iridescent
purples that go through here. If you are going to make a real statement with the purse, it
cannot stand alone, pull something else into it; your shoes, your jewelry, some other piece
of accessory so that it does not just look like it has been plumped down in the middle
and not a lot of thought put to it. Let it continue throughout the entire wardrobe when
you are choosing something that is a complete opposite of what you already started with.
